Andreize started to come to a women’s Bible study that Amazon Vida leads every week in Maranhão. Jobson also came to some men's Bible studies with a couple of mission trip teams (Americans and Brazilians) that we took to Maranhão.

As they both grew in the knowledge of the Bible, they began to experience transformation and began questioning their church - specifically when the Christmas message was all about Santa and nothing about Jesus. As this transformation continued, and pastor Abimael began to disciple them, they both were led to follow Christ as a result!

Jobson and Andreize have a son, and their entire family now comes to church and they have become very faithful members of this relatively new and quickly growing church in Maranhão while Andreize is also a very faithful part of the women's Bible study in Maranhão!
